- Core functionality is accessible by keyboard (using Tab and Enter), with a visible focus indicator.
- No strict time limits are imposed during checkout.
Our ongoing efforts focus on the following principles:
- Perceivable: We provide text alternatives for meaningful images, use descriptive titles, and review color contrast across the site. The EqualWeb widget also allows users to adjust contrast, enlarge text, and enable text-to-speech for easier perception.
- Operable: Core website functions are designed to be accessible by keyboard, with visible focus indicators, and we avoid flashing or blinking content. The EqualWeb widget adds further operability options, such as enlarging the cursor and highlighting links or headings.
- Understandable: Navigation is consistent across the site; content is written in clear language, and form fields include clear labels and error messages. The EqualWeb widget offers additional features such as tooltips and simplified reading modes to support comprehension.
- Robust: BRUNA’s website is built on modern web standards (HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, JavaScript), which support interoperability with assistive technologies. EqualWeb regularly tests its widget for compatibility with common assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
