We got married in my hometown in Styria which has a beautiful former 15th-century castle and Augustinian monastery, including a church and gardens.

Naturally, we made our own wedding bands. You'll find them very soon on BRUNA! I went for a timeless, slightly rounded version in 14k solid gold with a special engraving.

Our cake was a gift from my aunt. It was filled with raspberry and strawberry yogurt—our two favorite flavors. We wanted something light and not too sweet because I don't like cakes that are overly sweet.

Don't let yourself be too stressed or influenced by social media—there will always be a bigger wedding, a more extravagant wedding dress, or a trendier wedding cake, but at the end of the day, those things don't really matter. What's important is the time spent with family—your guests and friends will remember the love you shared, the joy, only that and nothing else. I believe that overall I'm a very relaxed person and so I was mostly calm and relaxed in the wedding planning as well. Although I started planning early—that helps too!
